Another recurring nightmare

simple yet not.  i'm always running.  i never get away.  i pray.  i fly.  i fight.  i never get away.  he always gets me.  he has a different face in every dream.  but it's always him.  him who?  i have no idea.  but i know it is the same man/boy.  if anyone can relate, i'll give more details if necessary.

Lil,

I could be way off track here, but I think "he" represents your negative feelings.  It has a different face every time: depression, fear, anger, anxiety, guilt, confusion.  You pray, you try to run from them, you fight with them, and then you "fly" above them for awhile, but they keep coming back.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Monica.  I'm going to do some thinking about that.  It makes a lot of sense.  It also helps to calm my nerves a bit too.

WOW Monica,

Great interpretation of the dream. I read it and couldn't see/think of anything. I do like your interpretation and makes a lot of sense.

Hi Lil,

That sounds so scary ~ always running. I hate not being able to figure out what my dreams are about. My T once suggested a way to work out your dreams ~ take each person or object in your dream and let it write to you, describing itself and what it's doing there and how it feels about you, etc. Sometimes that can reveal some pretty amazing stuff. I was never very good at it though Wink!

Feel free to tell us more about the dream if you want to.

I hope you get some rest.

Hugs if okay,

Riv
