i don't write poetry. poetry is an art. i freewrite. i am creating a place to go to in lieu of this board while I am between therapists so not to over run it.  in the meantime, please bear with me.

dry clay turns to mud
under clammy hands
arms on fire
an octopus she
clings
not the abyss
squashed flat
faith
r e a c h i n g
vines
ahoo!
seaweed
turns to slime
and again she
must

Hope,

I like what you've written.  I'm not a poet either.  I like the idea of free thought -- letting your mind take you to wherever it wants to go.  That's how I discovered the beginning of my repressed memories.  My unconscious mind held the key to who I really was and the truth about my family.  Hope writing these thoughts and ideas helps you to heal.
